Smoothie Recipe - Easy Christmas Morning

1 cup strawberries (fresh or frozen) 

1/2 banana (fresh or frozen) 

1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or non-dairy milk of your choice) 

1 tablespoon avocado 

1 tablespoon raw pumpkin seeds 

1 tablespoon chia seeds a handful of ice if you’re using fresh fruit 


Blend all ingredients in a high-speed blender, like a Vitamix, until smooth. 

Sprinkle the top with a pinch of chia seeds and a few extra pumpkin seeds to make it look extra festive. 


Nourishing your body with the vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and fiber, not to mention the extra hydration, will set you up perfectly to enjoy the day and nibble on a few treats without eating the entire dessert table.
