 This easy, low carb chicken cordon bleu casserole recipe takes only 30 minutes! A delicious combo of chicken, ham, dijon mustard cream sauce & Swiss cheese.

Make it right away for a quick dinner – or if it’s too hot at the moment, assemble it and stick it in your freezer for an effortless meal later.

  • 1/4 cup Heavy cream (or coconut cream or cream cheese)
  • 1/4 cup Sour cream (or yogurt plus  1/4 teaspoon baking soda)
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 2 lb Chicken breasts (cooked, chopped or shredded)
  • 12 oz Ham (deli slices, chopped)
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese (sub out for Mozzarella if you want stringy!)
  • 1/2 cup Grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup Almond flour (or any  nut flour of choice)
  • 2 tbsp Butter (melted)
  •  Chives (chopped, for garnish - optional)


  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, sour cream, Dijon mustard, and garlic.
  3. Stir in the chicken and ham. Place the chicken mixture into a 9x11" casserole dish. Top with Swiss cheese slices, overlapping slightly.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together the grated Parmesan cheese and almond flour. Stir in the melted butter and mash until the mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle evenly over the casserole.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the casserole is bubbly and the crumbles on top are golden brown. Garnish with fresh chives.
