Ingredients


  • 1 tablespoon of raw, organic, unfiltered honeyan anti-bacterial and anti-fungal; it also helps with soothing a sore throat and acts as a cough suppressant.
  • 2 teaspoon freshly grated ginger- fabulous for relieving nausea, gas, and bloating
  • 1/4 teaspoon of ground turmeric (or freshly grated if you can find it)-reduces inflammation 
  • 1 oz of coconut milk (optional)
  • 5 cups of spring water

Consider adding: 

  • Cayenne pepper: a powerful circulatory stimulant that aids the lymphatic and digestive systems. It also aids in breaking up congested mucus and can help relieve cold symptoms.

Directions


1) Bring water, ginger and turmeric to a boil.

2) Reduce heat and let it simmer for 10 minutes.

3) Remove from heat, strain, add coconut milk and honey to taste.
