Jam - Paleo Raspberry Recipe

about 1 cup


  • 1 lb of fresh or frozen raspberries (preferably organic), or any other berry
  • 2 tsp of fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup of raw honey (or to taste.  I use a lot less)


  1. In a sauce pan over medium-high heat, stir in berries and lemon juice
  2. Cook for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally (I like to mash this up with a fork while cooking it)
  3. Note: If a little foam surfaces while cooking, just skim it off with a spoon
  4. Next add the honey, stir and reduce heat to medium-low (I tend to add less honey than recipes call for-watching my sugar!)
  5. Continue cooking for about 10 minutes
  6. Mixture will thicken into a jam-like consistency as it cools
  7. Can be stored in fridge for about a week, or frozen in a sealed glass container (such as a mason jar) for a few months


I couldn’t wait to share this raspberry jam recipe with you because it’s really awesome.

Use it as a treat over waffles, as a topping for paleo “ice cream,” or  with almond butter in a paleo tortilla!  Hey...make a Paleo Chocolate Berry bar and top it with this jam!  That's what I'm doing with it today!

The great thing about this jam is it can be made with fresh or frozen berries. And it’s a grand total of three ingredients, so it’s super-easy.
