You know when you’re hungry in the middle of the day and everything in your house — or in the fridge at work — requires assembly for to be tasty?

Well, here's your answer...

  • 1 cup frozen banana, chopped into 2 inch pieces
  • 1 cup frozen (or fresh) blueberries
  • ¼ cup "raw" cashews or cashew butter
  • 2 tablespoons hemp hearts (or more cashews)
  • 1 teaspoon local bee pollen
  • 1 medjool date, pitted (or raw honey)
  • filtered water

Add bananas, blueberries, cashew, hemp hearts, bee pollen, and date to your blender cup.

Pour in enough water to almost cover the ingredients (this makes it ice-cream-thick, if you want it thinner pour in enough water to cover the ingredients fully).

Blend until creamy and as close to a uniform texture as you can get it. If you're using a Vitamix (lucky you!!!) the cashews will go smooth and everything will come out perfectly even. Otherwise, you may have a little bit of texture from the cashews as they're unslaked. Who cares?

This is a lazy smoothie.

Drink up!
