The Power of The Ingredients:
Coffee Oil
Coffee oil, like coffee, is naturally packed with antioxidants, along with caffeine, that works together to boost the skin’s own ability to restore, heal, firm and tighten. Caffe, in particular, as is well known for reducing puffiness and dark circles under the eyes while improving blood circulation to result in a fresh, rejuvenated look.
How To Make Coffee Oil:
The first step is to make coffee infused oil. I made it using the hot infusion method. Combine 4 tablespoons of ground coffee with 8 tablespoons of pure olive oil in a small sauce pan. Heat it over low heat for at least 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. You can also use a crock pot and heat it on low for few hours. Strain the oil using either cheesecloth or a coffee filter. This oil is perfect on its own as a light moisturizer.
Coconut Oil
Coconut oil offers numerous benefits to the skin, including the skin around the eyes, to prevent dryness and fine lines. It contains vitamins and essential fatty acids that help promote healthy skin cells, including vitamin E and antioxidants that can heal and repair damaged skin. Its lactic acid content helps to tighten pores, making skin smooth and firm, while the oil’s anti-inflammatory properties work to reduce swelling and redness.
Beeswax
Known mostly for its conditioning properties, beeswax also has a number of other benefits for the skin, including an action that helps to calm and soothe. Beeswax creates a barrier that helps to seal moisture in the skin, and it also contains vitamin A, which promotes cell regeneration and helps to improve hydration, as it’s considered a humectant, meaning it “attracts” water, so when you put it on your skin, it attracts water molecules, keeping the skin more hydrated.
Jojoba Oil
Jojoba oil is filled with nutrients like vitamin E, B complex, zinc, copper, chromium, and selenium, which is known to strengthen the skin’s natural healing process to make it more supple, as well as to restore elasticity while gradually diminishing fine lines.
Patchouli Essential Oil
Thanks to its potent anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, patchouli essential oil is known for reducing the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines in problem skin areas.
